Q: What areas do you service?

A: We serve most of Alberta and parts of BC.

Q: How many trailers and what size should I rent for my event?

A: We can work with you to determine the number of trailers and the size that will accommodate your guests based on event type, number of guests, percentage of men/women/children and the duration of the event. Please also check out the Washroom capacity chart on the main page.

Q: Do I need an electrical outlet/power to use a Royal Potty?

A: All washroom trailers are powered by electricity and use a normal 110v 15 amp household plug in to run, or we can supply a small generator for an additional fee. Power should be within 50’ of the trailers location.

Q: Do I need a water source to use a washroom trailer?

A: Regular City water connection (garden hose size) is required.

Q: If a washroom trailer is damaged during my event, am I responsible?

A: Yes, if there is damage or theft to the unit the renter is responsible, normal wear and tare is acceptable.

Q: How many days before the event should I book my trailer?

A: The more notice the better to insure availability. We have units booked out 6-12 months ahead and some are booked a week ahead depending on availability.

Q: Can I rent a washroom trailer or hand wash sink for a few hours?

A: All rentals have a 1 day flat fee, weekly and monthly long term rentals pricing is available.

Q: Are toilet paper, paper towels and soap included in the price?

A: Yes, all supplies are included for one rental, long term rentals the customer is responsible or we can offer that service for a fee.

Q: What types of payments are accepted by Royal Potties?

A: VISA and Masercard. A damage deposit will be required on all washroom trailers and required to secure a booking.

Q: Do you own any standard Port-a-Potties?

A: Yes, Royal Potties is a division of Pit Stop Portables offering brand new event portable toilets.

Q: Are the washroom heated or cooled?

A: Yes, all units have air-conditioning or heat as needed for guest comfort.

Q: How do I keep the washroom trailer clean during my event?

A: All units are virtually self maintained, customers are responsible for basic upkeep during the events, such as adding paper products and wiping down counters as needed.

Q: Are any of the Royal Potties handicap accessible?

A: Yes! We presently have one unit that is handicap accessible. Please reserve it immediately, as it is a very popular unit.
